2 part vaccine

Just back from the vet after Betty had her booster was surprised we have to go back in 4 weeks for a second part, no extra charge but they have apparently changed the system and the lepro is now being given in 2 parts.
Was chatting about the newer viruses etc and agreed owning a dog is very different to 30 years ago when biggest threat was hard pad.

Yep Benny had his last August ..Its because until now they have vaccinated against the two most common forms of lepto and now they vaccinate against 4 ? (dont quote me)

I agree owning a dog has change a huge amount in 30 years...

Dinah had the additional lepto in September. No problems - just an appointment with a vet nurse and a quick in and out ... us and the hypodermic

Took Floyd to the vet for his blood tests this morning and I noticed a poster which said you now have to have contact details on dogs' collar.
I'd better get new tag as his is quite worn. This is in addition to microchip.
