Re: Bill Cosby

This makes the stories even more damning. This man has nothing to gain by coming forward.

I think that he's not publically proclaiming his innocence because he is guilty. Over 14 women don't come forward and claim rape for no reason.

Still not evidence given in court though and until that happens we cannot say he is guilty. I cannot understand why if all this is true police have not become involved.

Re: Bill Cosby

There is a statute of limitations on rape ( I think in most states it is less than 10 years) so I don't think that he could be prosecuted. It would be kind of an exercise in futility if the police arrested him when he could not be charged.

Then it's even more unfair people trying him in the media IMO

I think this is generally because if someone has enough money and clout their 'people' lean on or pay off the victims. If it's difficult in general to report rape offences, how much harder when the person you are accusing is revered and powerful?

While I don't disagree how much easier to make trouble for them too, I don't like trial by media at all innuendo and suspicions always hang around the person, it's important we don't ruin lives with no proof.

The media isn't trying him, they're just reporting everyone who's coming forward. The numbers are getting pretty high.

With a new accuser every day, I'm surprised there are not more comments about this.

Re: Bill Cosby

Well what can we say ? if there is not going to be a trial we can't say he is guilty and with some of them getting dates wrong - even years I am not sure what is going on.
