What a lovely picture Eliza! I grow several Clemantis in my garden and used to find it hard to remember how to prune each one as they flower different times. Then Monty Don said, "if it flowers before June then do not prune" have never looked back
What not at all ?
Eliza that is a fantastic picture !
He says if it flowers before June then hold off the pruning until after it has flowered. The late flowering varieties can be pruned early spring. It has worked for me so far
