I would be happy for it to be made complusory if they added a 'none of the above' or 'no confidence' vote..

At least then we could make our true feelings known .

Yes there are a few things I would class a a civic duty, voting is one of them .
If no one bothered to vote we would have no governance at all.

As a woman I think it is particularly important that I vote, others of my sex died so I might have that privileged

It is a free country still and the right to vote is a persons choice.
Those that don't vote are usually the ones who complain the most about how the country is run
