Hello I'm Merida and I've just joined. I was told this was a friendly site, but unfortunately because of the way I have already been attacked by another member on a thread in Discussion I don't see myself staying long. Very disappointing.

Hello and welcome - it is a friendly site most of the time. We have our share of strong opinions - but you will find those on any forum. Give us a chance to know you better.

Lovely to see you here and I genuinely hope that you stay, in spite of your initial thoughts.

I can see absolutely nothing wrong with your posts to date.

I would be nice however if we had a lady on here who understood the full effects of Man Flu.

Unfortunately the other ladies on here do not seem to understand the full effects of it.

But man-flu is a terrible ailment, requiring lots of sympathy, hot drinks, bacon butties and unlimited and unrestricted access to the tv remote!!
