Should they be banned and why are our trains so crowed and uncomfortable

Re: First class carriages

It makes little point to keep them IMO looking at trains going past most have a couple of empty carriages and the rest of the train people are standing. It makes more sense and would be safer to get them sitting down.

I dint think MPs are allowed to claim first class travel any more now, unless their journey is more that two hours.

Hi

I do not travel by train often, not many deals locally so very expensive.

I do like train travel on the Continent, fast efficient, clean and on time.

Why should they be banned? People should have a right to travel in comfort providing they pay out for the privilege.

Re: First class carriages

Friend of ours went to Australia a few months ago apparently same length journey as York to London was £2.10 it's just slightly more than that here lowest price I can find is £105.20 for a ticket dread to think of cost of first class !
