I don't see being sympathetic to poorer people as only for the poor, many very rich people have been best advocates for changes that helped lower paid members of our society.

I'm afraid class warriors will never understand that without wealth creators there can be no welfare state, the whole welfare system is based on good old capitalism...

I agree but I'm of the opinion wealth has shifted too far away from the lower paid and sitting on billions of pounds not using it to help others is immoral.

Not sure who you are refering to Julie, most wealth filters down in one way or another, whether it be by creating jobs or other means, but encouraging self sufficiency must always be paramount, otherwise we would all take the path of least resistance and just live on hand outs.

There are many multimillionaires Barry that squirrel the money away, never allow it to filter anywhere. That's who I'm talking about. Many don't and are doing much to help in poorer countries the problems we have here are pretty much ignored though.

There is a world of difference between those of wealth who have witnessed poverty and been determined to do some thing about it by putting their own wealth on the line by doing something about it and those who have kept their wealth and view it as an academic thing they will not risk a penny on.

The first is a Social Reformer, the second is a hypocrite.

Corbyn is no Titus Salt.

He is however a Terrorist Supporter, who has never done a real days work in his life.
