Good morning fellow members
we have had a sprinkling of rain this morning but not enough to do any good so I will need to do some watering again later.Not a lot planned for today just the never ending cleaning.
I have at last managed to change the florescent light bulb in the garage. The fitting of the new ones is different to the one I used to have and not easy at the best of times performed up a ladder with just a torch for lighting .I had almost given up trying then looked on You tube and found how to do it

Morning all, today is colder with snow forecast for the hills. Yesterday was a belter mild and sunny, so i checked the lake the Grebes on the small lake had left the nest and had 2 chicks but kept thir distance as a Biathlon was being held right beside the lake.So i crossed to the large lake and was pleased to see the Alpha pair of grebes had built a nest and wer sitting on eggs.

Thanks Barry, hope they are successful, my pairs rarely get all young fledged,predators like Gulls, Otter, Pike and even Red eared Terrapin are about.
