I was expecting articles about co-habitation and tolerance and peace and burkha sharing.
Instead .. it was very harrowing stuff and had me barricading my doors and windows instead of meditating over a tranquil cuppa tea.

Looking at their site they too dish out derogatory slurs and albeit well veiled have a tendency to express their disdain.

Human nature? Everything seems so provocative and intense with strong views these days.
Very little evidence of any middle road anywhere.

During the 1990s, Lowles(founder of Hope Not Hate) was involved with the self-styled Anti-Fascist Action. The Red Action part of this, which Lowles was close to, carried out the 1993 Harrods terrorist attack; a bombing linked to the PIRA in which four people were injured. I'm of the opinion that anyone who dares to upset the establishment apple cart is likely to incur the wrath of those who support the traditional political parties.
Such people are, in fact, conservatives (with a small C) in that they cannot imagine life outside of the ongoing tradition in this country of the pendulum swinging regularly from right to left and back again.
That is the real reason why UKIP has never gained a foothold in Parliament. Because of people's fear of 'the unknown', they have never been given a chance. Sad, really, as we are therefore condemned to continue the ongoing charade of British politics.
At the very least, Farage has been instrumental in regaining this country's independence through Brexit. For that alone, his name will go down in history, whether certain people like it or not!
