Two mystery guests

Found these two little creatures while out pretending to be gardening - I do not actually know the first thing about it !



Obviously this o ne is a snail - but isn't he/she pretty ?



Now this little fellow was walking across the 'snowball' bush. You can see how tiny he/she is by comparison with my rather grubby fingernail. No idea as to what he/she may metamorphise (is that actually a word?) into !

Find all kinds of weird creepy crawling critters when out in the garden. The snail is very pretty but, like you, I have no idea which type or who the caterpillar will eventually become!

I had a quick google of british caterpillers images,
one seems familiar but not exact.

Thank you both for looking - it is such a tiny caterpillar - I don't remember ever seeing one so small. I hope it survives so I can see what it becomes.
