Yes I've seen one or two of the programs and they are real craftspeople of the highest order, but I've no idea what Blades is doing there, just being the front man and gofer I guess ...

On reflection, I suppose the programme is aimed at people who are absolute novices with minimal equipment.
I, and most of my age group, were taught woodwork and metalwork at school.. ( Girls were taught cookery, sexist now).
Maybe we failed to pass on the lessons we learned.

Sozz Foxy An excellent drawing it was too. I wish our woodworking teach had been THAT good. I might have passed my GCE in it.

Thanks Percy and Longdogs.... I wasn't fishing for compliments, although it's nice to be appreciated occasionally......

I did the drawing on an early version of a popular paint package, in fact it was such an early version, I think it gets a mention in the Magna Carta...
It serves it's purpose but you need a little patience....I'm too old to be learning where everything is on a new package......
