Re: Cup cakes
I totally agree with you, Muddy, but just about every bakers shop in town has the cup cakes - changing the lurid toppings to suit the season or current celebration. Children are attracted to them and, sadly, today's parents don't seem to have heard of the word 'No'. As for muffins - to me they should be toasted and served with butter and jam/marmalade - not paper cups of yukky stodge!Re: Cup cakes
We make both muffins the toasty ones and the chocolate chip or blueberry ones also the cup cakes and fairy cakes grace loves baking. The key is they are a treat, and it is possible to keep kids a good weight and keep their teeth good and still let them have a treat.Re: Cup cakes
I'm not a big fan of cakes at all, but some of them look very pretty when decorated and like various other foods, I like to look at them, but I don't want to eat them. I will make cakes (which is always hit and miss), but it's Mr Clumsy or people visiting that eat them. I like looking in cake shops but rarely do I want to eat any.Re: Cup cakes
