Re: The Beast From The East?

I was worried about walking the dog because he started to limp in the snow yesterday. I l looked it up today thinking I'd need special booties or something and apparently snow is ok but the grit is really bad for them. Not sure what was up but he seems fine now. Thank heavens for wellies, how did we walk on snow before they were invented?

Tis true that salt in the frit can make their pads sore Annie, but also is he a long haired dog? If the hair between his pads is overgrown, it can make 'snow balls' which are uncomfortable for them to walk on - bit like us having a stone in our socks.

I think you are more in need of a sock than me, it's 27°C here. I don't like tinnies myself I prefer stubbies but the idea was good.

On the bright side you won't need a fridge for your tinny.
