Do you still have a landline?

I do since it came with my Broadband, but I don't use it as much as my mobiles.

Re: Do you still have a landline?

Yes as its part of my broadband contract. Free calls at weekend. Haven't used it in months now as I have lost the walkabout handset. The battery has gone flat so I cannot even page the handset.
No one ever rings me anyway, billy no mates. I've got two mobiles though 1 a smartphone with WhatsApp, email etc, the other is a simple no frills handset with calls/text 1p minute.
Im thinking of having some of those cards printed you see in telephone boxes in red light areas.

Hi

Yes.

Mobile reception here is very poor.

I find a landline invaluable, I skype a lot.

Re: Do you still have a landline?

I use my landline all the time. I carry a mobile when I am out but seldom have had to use it. An annoying thing I find is that to complete some online transactions you need to enter a mobile number. I have free anytime calls with my Broadband package from TalkTalk.

Re: Do you still have a landline?

Yes, I have a landline, as I dont use a mobile. However, I make very few telephone calls, maybe one a week on average. I need the landline for my Lifeline call system and also the broadband access.

Yes I prefer it to my mobile for actual phone calls. Can't have broadband without it either.

Re: Do you still have a landline?

I've found that giving out my landline number seems to impress people more; that or they're surprised I still use one.
