Anyone who uses third party proxy IP addresses usually does so for a reason.

Best not to use them as all it does is draw attention to the fact that you choose to use one.

Exactly.

Use Tor and you are a target.

GCHQ and others have absolutely no interest in you making an assignation with the local vicars wife.

Use Tour and you have something to hide.
