Re: Favourite Flower (Wildflower or otherwise!)

Gosh, I love so many. I just love my flowers.

I think my two real favourites though are fragrant roses, and the gorgeous little cottage garden Pinks - they smell divine.

I also love the first Snowdrops after winter, the first daffodils, and the little blue Anemone Blanda's which spread like a carpet of blue, then the Bluebells.

I also have a beautiful Peony with amazing blooms, and a growing collection of Agapanthus varying from pure white to the deepest blue.
There are more I love too, but I can get carried away.

Great choices! I love the antiques, Rugosas, species and wild roses, including the rose my main man William Shakespeare wrote about, the Eglantyne

Buttercups, too! Don't forget the tender little bcups!

One of my Agapanthus.

And a couple of my roses.

My Rhodedenderon in a tub I transferred with me when I moved here. Couldn't leave that behind.

Re: Favourite Flower (Wildflower or otherwise!)

Hi Bobby,

My favourite flower of all time is the orchid, preferrably white. I love getting an orchid plant for my living room.

My favourite outdoor flowers are:

Peonies...

Lilly of the Valley....

Bleading Hearts....

Great thread Bobby, why don't you start a thread on birds as well. I imagine you have some awesome ones down there.
