Maybe they're shy. Maybe they feel unwelcome. Maybe they don't want to interrupt. Maybe they like to just read other peoples point of view without expressing their own.

What difference does it make? The world would be a boring place if we were all the same.

Some who start out lurking turn into those who will eventually be prolific posters. They stake the forum out first to get a general idea of how the landscape lies

Wonder how long the forum would last if we all only posted like that, not judging you or complaining but unless we all put a bit in there won't be a forum for very long.

Julie, this forum has been around for a long time, thankfully the posters outnumber the lurkers.
