I met my late OH on a blind date with friends who were a couple. My friend said, you do know him, but I couldn't place him among the crowd we went around with. Then they turned up in his car, nice car, I thought, on seeing him, Oh no, not him. LOL. The rest is history.

The wife and I were happy for twenty-one years. Then we met.
Seriously, my wife was the mother of a girl one of my apprentices was seeing and we used to sneak up to their house after our day's work was completed. We hit it off straight away. Funny part is, he married the daughter, I married the mum but they divorced some ten years later while we continued for twenty three years right up to her death in 2005.

I met my husband in the pub I was working part time in. He was the best friend of one of my friends and had come to England to find work after splitting with his wifeHated him on sight
Took 6 months of banter before we finally went out on a date, local county show where he won me a zillion teddy bears and that night over dinner he told me he loved me
That was 28 years ago and we celebrated 15 years of marriage yesterday

I met my first husband when we both worked at the same place. I was only about 16, and he was 9 years older than me.Although we divorced after about 10 years, we stayed good friends for the next 40-odd years, and always talked, and kept in touch until he died just before last Christmas. Lovely man.
I miss him.
I met my second husband when he used to come in the village pub I worked in at the time. He was a farmer in the next village.
