Great Animal Art
Landseers " The Arab Tent "
The relaxed horses and the saluki dogs.
Yes it's Victorian sentimentalism
But it's still one of my favourites.

I have always loved this watercolour by Albrecht Durer painted in 1502. Such skill and observation.

I think all Edwin Landseer paintings are beautiful. the way he captured those dogs and horses was just superb.

That is a beautiful painting, Muddy. One of my favourites as well. I like a lot of the artists who paint horses.
I love this one.

Re: Great Animal Art
Thanks Muddy, I wish I owned an original of any of the horse painters. Wouldn't care which or who, but no way could I afford one.
