When I was a child in the 50s/60 the summers seemed to be very warm and sunny, we used to spend most days on the beach.

Selective memory - the 50s had their share of cool summers.

Jersey has longer Summer's Tara.

I wish I could spend a Summer in either Jersey or Guernsey.

It would cost you a bob or two, it is cheaper to holiday in Spain so I have been told.

I keep getting come visit Guernsey leaflets by post. They must have got my address somehow.
