Ah, I see, point taken.
For many successive years I used to attend the annual Fleadh Cheoil (traditional Irish music festival) in Kilkenny, many’s the wild time I had there in my younger years, three days of wine, women, dancing, singing, and general craic, I often wonder where I got the energy from to keep going, perhaps it was due the old Arthur Guinness, some of the pints you got them days there was atein’ and drinkin’ on them, but like all good things one enjoys the woman soon put a stop to me gallop, maybe it’s just as well or I’d never have lived to collect me pension, too much enjoyment can kill ya, just ask any woman that and i'll bet she’ll agree, especially if your married to her.
Here's one for you Gummy dear boy.
The Swagman's Lament, by Jem
I had a gal at the hardware store
Blew me out, didn’t wanna see me no more
Her man was jealous, spiteful and mean
Said if he ever caught me he’d pick ma bones clean
So that’s ma story it was sad to tell
Just when I thought things were going’ so well.
