One doesn't have a room thermostat (not into all this modern stuff) but the temperature outside in the shade is 25c

Sitting downstairs with a pedestall fan on .... bliss.

I have one in the bedroom too, ready for tonight, unless I sleep on the sofa

Cooked some Turkey steaks to eat at leisure.

A liberal sprinkinhg of freshly ground black pepper and plonked on the 'health grill'

Yummmmm to eat hot or cold

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

Lunch is now cooking. Defrosted beef yesterday and has been cooking in the slow cooker since early this morning. Have now peeled and chopped parsnips, carrots and pototoes and they are roasting with an onion in some beef dripping in the oven.

Whatever beef is leftover after I've carved it later on, I will use tomorrow to make a beef stew with suet dumplings in my 'cauldron'.
