I am warming to it now, I really couldn't get used to Demelza she is so different to Angharad Rees. I sort of like her now. I accepted Aidan Turner as Poldark straight away... who wouldn't

Have you noticed when they do long kisses they actually kiss the bottom lip only or the top lip only ........keep watching

I think that's what actors are taught to do, I may be wrong, but I was told this years ago.

My mother and her friend loved the early episodes of Poldark but they think this latest series is too silly to watch. They're very disappointed.

I see the ever sneering George Warleggan has improved on his collection of dirty looks and scowls. The look on his face when he first went to court as a judge was wonderful. Talk about looking down your nose lol. That man just has to come to a sticky end.

I agree none of the cast are a patch on the originals.

What bothers me is the latest episodes were set in winter time with frost on the ground and the men are wearing shirts/waistcoats/topcoats while many of the women wear only a frock with a bare chest and just a thin shawl around their shoulders

Good point but what bothers me is the original cast looked like they could have come from the time this was set, the present cast have not got that look about them, far too healthy and modern looking.
