Twink is right, we are in a lose lose situation.
The population increases by ?% every year and most of that population will want the same things [or more] than the previous generation and who will tell them that they can't have it?
So barring a major catastrophe we are doomed.......

Low emissions car

Recycle everything we possibly can. We have a compost heap for the stuff the hens won't / can't eat

Waste nothing

LED lights in and around the house

We don't buy very much in the way of processed foods. We grow what veg we can, we have eggs from our hens, we barter and trade for fish, poultry and game

We up cycle and re purpose what we can

We live a thrifty lifestyle. We don't spend for the sake of it, every purchase is a considered one. We don't spend our leasure time in the shops that's for sure. When I do fancy a bit of leisure shopping it's a trip around the charity shops.
