Re: EU bullying tactics

Headed straight to Tony Parson’s column this morning as he always pulls no punches when it comes to dealing with the EU.
Here below is his take of what is going on…………

quote.

If it were not for the blood sacrifice of the British in two world wars, then Jean-Claude Juncker would be slurring German as his first language today.
So show some respect to this country, you half-cut, puffed-up, political pygmy.

We do not expect Brexit to be greeted with a standing ovation by that clapped-out, job-destroying, anti-democratic gravy train, the European Union.
But we DO expect Brexit talks to be conducted with civility, decency and common sense on both sides.

We will not tolerate our democratic decision to leave the EU being treated as a crime against humanity.
We will not tolerate European politicians and bureaucrats who care nothing for our nation, calling Theresa May “delusional” and “living in another galaxy” for simply implementing the will of the British people.
We will not tolerate our Prime Minister being ridiculed, insulted and briefed against by sloshed Euro boss Jean-Claude Drunker and his eye-swivelling German henchman, Martin Selmayr.
“Brexit can never become a Success,” sneered Herr Selmayr, Juncker’s chief of staff. “It is a sad and sorry event”.

But the British, whatever way they voted in the EU Referendum, can’t afford for Brexit NOT to be a success.
Because it is our future. It is happening. And we have to make it work.

It is routinely suggested that a civilised divorce is inevitable because there are so many German car manufacturers, French winemakers and Italian fashion designers who happily sell their lovely products to this country.
But no divorce can be civilised when one side is totally consumed by bitterness. Our former masters in Brussels just want to give Britain a punishment beating for daring to leave.
Juncker and the EU’s chief Brexit negotiator, Michael Barnier, show every sign that they would love Brexit talks to collapse.
They want to see the British people suffer because we have had the nerve to leave their failed institution.
And they don’t give a damn if it hurts the European businessmen who simply want to trade with our country - in or out of the European Union.

Juncker, Barnier and the rest of the Little Europeans are not businessmen. They are fanatics.
We voted to leave. So we are leaving. And they can’t process that simple fact because continental Europe, with its tragic history of Fascism, Communism and Invaders in jackboots, believes that bullies win. But they are wrong!
The British people have stood up to bigger, badder bullies than the European Union, including Nazi Germany, Napoleon Bonaparte and the Spanish Armada.
And look what happened to them!.

One hundred billion to leave the EU?

For more than once, setting Europe free from tyranny when Europe could not do the job itself - there’s no charge, mein herr.

Unquote.

Couldn’t have put it better. It appears that even Merkel is being sour with Junker and his cohorts for making the impending negotiations more difficult with his uncalled for insults and underhanded actions, and has told him in no uncertain terms to keep his big mouth shut!

Let’s hope the idiot listens.

What an excellent piece. I hope that, not only TM, but also those Europrats have read it.

Hi

Dream on.

Any member of the EU is not allowed to deal with the UK as regards trade deals.

They are allowed, after we leave, to deal with us directly as regards Immigration and reciprocal Tax Deals.

That is our best bet on splitting the EU.

Poland because we have so many here, Spain because we have so many there and Ireland because we are so interlinked.

When we leave, we are under no obligation at all to trade with the EU as a single entity.

We can sink Luxembourg, Junckers power base, by imposing a 1000% tax on any dealings with them.

That will sink Amazon, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.

Hardball, not my choice, but we will win in the end.

Re: EU bullying tactics

According to the DT, front page today, The Brexit Bill of E100Billion cannot be enforced.

"The European Commission's own lawyers have admitted"

The Sunday telegraph has, apparently seen minutes of internal deliberations circulated by Brussels Brexit Negotiating team that had warned about pursuing the UK for extra payment.

Didn't we always say that the EU Lawyers were excellent people...?

More good news!

Confirmation that they are just trying it on and pushing for absolutely anything they can get, just like a naughty child.

I wonder what the next outlandish demand will be.

As I've said previously, it just reinforces that we made the correct choice in leaving.
For gawds sakes, it's like trying to deal with UJ & Purwell....
