Re: Hello

Welcome......If you travel from Kent to Suffolk I'd take the A12...through Colchester...then Ipswich...through Norfolk then across country to Derbyshire and Cheshire

Re: Hello

Hi and welcome Cheryl-Anne. The only thing I know about Suffolk is it's apparently full of suffering folk.

Re: Hello

Good morning Cheryl darlin' and welcome. Whilst Suffolk (& Norfolk) have the 'broads', as has already been pointed out these counties are very flat. Living in Kent, you probably have a view of either North or South Downs which does tend to break up the horizon and is, therefore much more interesting.

Re: Hello

Some of your comments made me giggle and why not re proceeding beyond Suffolk/Norfolk. But I really want a change of scenery and have found Kent tad unfriendly tbh. Love the coast or being near it and have grown up children at UEA.
The idea of living somewhere more flat is appealing the older I get as makes cycling easier. Also want to live somewhere where there are a lot of activities/clubs to join......

Have a nice day everyone.

The Suffolk coast has some interesting parts, mostly flattish !
Depends how rural you want to be. It's mostly better than Chatham or Gillingham.
