Re: Bread (supermarket) and refreezing

I have my Tesco groceries delivered which includes two wholemeal and two Warburton thick slice which he who must obey prefers for his sarnies. After a few necessary phone calls after handing the bread back to the delivery driver as not fresh enough (two and one day shelf life left on them) I had to train Tesco to deliver bread that had minimum 4 day shelf life or would not accept them, so well looked after with fresh bread every time now. I always freeze them immediately and take a loaf out as needed. They always seem as fresh as when I put them into freezer and they are never in there more than a week, but once out would never refreeze them again.
If not used for toast, it's bread and butter pudding, breadcrumbs, birds or binned. (that's a lot of B's!!)
