A 1950 Ford V8 Pilot in 1967, reg.no. GUN 440 which I went 50/50 on with a mate at ten quid each. He was old enough to drive and I wasn't (legally), It looked just like an american gangster's car and only did around 14 to the gallon, but it was great fun to pose and drive around town in. Happy days....

My first car was a Fiat 128, bought for £100 off a friend and sold for £100 two years later. A great little car and quite nippy despite being only 1100cc. Similar to this:

The first car of my very own, was a little bright red Hillman Imp, similar to this one.

I have always thought you were a cheeky Imp Mups.

I have always liked those but never had one. The one thing I remember is the rear opening window which was quite advanced for the time.

Sue had one when we we engaged to be married and I could legally drive it as well. A nippy little engine but a right sod to get to the furthest spark pPlug, it was right under the bodywork

Ah, but that wouldn't have bothered me Bazza, cos I wasn't the poor bugger who had to get to the plugs.
