Re: The power of garlic.

I love the stuff.

I like to roast a whole bulb with olive oil and a touch of salt. I'll then eat the lot.
One of my most used ingredients - always some in the veggy basket...

Oh yes - it is wonderful stuff - I use it a lot.

Yep, and is said to help prevent blood clots.

I have 'garlic weekends' where I'll avoid garlic in the week and eat lots of raw garlic on the weekends. I love it with salad - raw onions, fennel, chicory, radish, garlic and linseeds (and lettuce and home made dressing) = super salad
Oooh stop it Azz - I am drooling on my keyboard at the thought and it isn't even -6:00am yet !!

I love it too. Particularly roasted, as you describe.

Re: The power of garlic.

I like it, but my tummy doesn't.
Late BIL swore by it and died of bowel cancer so that didn't work!
I find it very effective around Halloween

Re: The power of garlic.

I was told if you take out the little bits in the middle of the clove you won't smell as strongly as when using the whole clove , does anyone know if this is correct
