Re: The power of garlic.

I don't think there are any miracle cures for anything and we are all different so some medical cures don't work the same on others.
If you find something that works for you, of course you will tell friends, because it may work for them too.
I have had lots of discussions with doctors about medicine dosage and length of course, because all they are doing is giving you the norm, rather than what suits your body best.

My rule is " Always listen to your body" because if something makes you feel better it is probably doing a good job... if you don't feel better, or feel worse, stop using it.

Re: The power of garlic.

I read somewhere that eating Parsley after eating Garlic takes away some of the bad breath, anybody?

After reading all of your comments I'm now convinced it's a fantastic natural medicine and food, I shall purchase some immediately to see if I can reverse the trend of running slower every time I head off for a run.........Perhaps be able to run marathons like I did when I was forty?....

As I sit here I can see my 25 heads of garlic growing and it is now 2 feet high
Lots of tasty meals there

Re: The power of garlic.

These things are not "miracle" cures. The term is somewhat silly really. They only seem like miracles because we are ignorant of Nature and what it can do for us.

Got a dental abscess? Take some liquorice root capsules and voila ! It goes away. A miracle? No not really just Nature.

Garlic can cure a lot of things and provide a wide range of benefits to the body. No miracle, just Nature.

Goldenseal drops in some eye wash/saline will cure an eye infection. No miracle, just simple Nature.

we have been conditioned, from birth, to believe and expect that we need synthetic pills, potions and treatments to cure our ailments. Largely, we simply do not. If we eat the right things and don't poison our own bodies then Nature gives us what we need and our bodies do what comes naturally using their amazing immune systems.
