Re: The end of the diesel car is nigh

Yes, I've had my Rover 75 2Ltr diesel Connoiseur S E (BMW engine) for over 5 years. It's over 13 years old.
We have just returned from a break in Cornwall, totaling 850 miles in six days. The car ran exceptionally well.
I plan to keep it for as long as I can.

Wow ... the Connoisseur is a very nice car.

Some of the Rover 75s are amazingly good buys but I always have a problem with saloon cars.

I know the estate is longer than the saloon and this can be a problem with garage/car port, but there's so much more space for all the 'stuff'.

Maybe the saloon looks more classy?

I could be seduced by a good ZT or ZT-T, nostalgia plus power.

But then I would run it into the ground, what a waste.

Yeah, leave them and the Rover 75 alone. You are the grim reaper as far as cars are concerned .

Have some pity for the poor mechanical beasts. At least change the oil and filter now and then .
