Brian Cant RIP
Brian Cant, the famous face and voice of childrens TV from the 60s to the 80s has died today. He was 83 and had been suffering from Parkinson's disease and died in a retirement home.
Who can forget the famous "Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grub." from Trumpton as the fire brigade turned out to attend another emergency? He also voiced Camberwick Green at around the same time and Chigley a few years later.
He started his TV career as a presenter to the then new TV show Play School for younger children.
