Sibee I have had mine for a number of years.

I had the same metal opener for 35 years until it broke then had 3 in a few months all ending up in the bin .

I bought an electric opener from Morrisons , supposed to open all tins, only it didnt,unfortunately I lost the reciept so couldnt take it back, Ive now gone back to using an old electric one
But even this wont open my small tin of salmon, I find the one like Judd has for these tins

I use a Starfrit can opener. Never had a problem with it.
