Ken Dodd is a genuinely nice guy and deserves his knighthood. I met him with our Down's Syndrome son a good number of years ago when our lad was 8. We were invited by Ken to visit one of his shows, and to come to his dressing room afterwards. He was fantastic with our boy and gave him a couple of tickling sticks he had used in the show.

I find his humour a bit childish, but at least he has not been involved in a Op Yewtree investigation so I suppose he deserves a knighthood just for that
