Dream shot.

Well nearly, i have just found all three of the closest ive come to capturing my dream shot of a pair of Great-crested grebes running across the water.

Been hoping to capture it since 2006, without luck, at least you can see the power they generate to achieve such a feat.

Great photos Nom, we have grebes on our local pond but they are always too distant to get a clear shot of them with my compact camera, although all that I ever see them do anyway is dive for food and then reappear 50 yards away...

This one had its eye on a Coot who had wandered a bit too close, sohad to be chased.
