Thanks for the ideas and suggestions.

I think Losos is right - I'm going to have to look at this over the weekend but I've got a problem with the shower now too so I may have to get Nick in now anyway. stevmk2

Try this one from B & Q it is a quadrant that expand up to 10mm allowing the bath to move.

Thanks Eric - that sounds as if it might be enough.

I've yet to check under the bath itself to see if I can perhaps shore the thing up a bit first.

I tried last night though - I can't get the panel off!

Must be a knack to it but you know how you feel - do I go at it a bit more heavy or not?!! stevmk2
