Dark is a good description, it used to be interspersed with some humour, but this series is one long piece of misery and it has lost all attraction to me.
I agree with you Sundodger, it was dark, particularly upsetting when Mitch died, that was awful, but the old humour was still there, and there's plenty of scope for future one-off stories.
I liked all the other series but I thought this series was rubbish. Half the time I wasn't sure what they were talking about -and the story line about her 16 yr old was daft.
And I found myself getting really annoyed with Rachel.
