Boffins at it again

A new study is about to explore the effects that gardening tools, combined with different tasks, have on our bodies. The RHS have got together with Coventry University to do the research.
Boffins want to assess the performance of different gardening tools to see if they need re-designing to reduce the risk of injuries.
Researchers will be wearing Lycra bodysuits (should be interesting ). These bodysuits will be fitted with reflective sensors, which record movements made during gardening tasks. Both men and women, of different age groups and capabilities will all do different tasks so it can be decided what is beneficial to health and what is harmful.

After all these years of people gardening . . . . .

Why not just ask GP's...

I remember mine said he hated Easter.. It caused a spike in heart attacks as
people charged out and started digging and planting...

If Coventry Uni want to do the research it's a good thing, all kinds of research is done which we benefit from.
Back pain is a common problem with gardening and if garden tools can be redesigned to help with that fair enough.

Sure, whatever you say. I think she missed what she was aiming for.

Most people including myself use a spade and a fork badly.

Joking aside we were never really sure shortly after I was taken away from her so perhaps I was told is was an accident so I didn't blame her to badly. I don't remember it just the hospital afterwards.
