Re: started cleaning up

Another couple of weeks for me. It`s a new garden to me so will need time to see what I have, some nice snow drops and other bulbs.

Re: started cleaning up

My garden is still like a bog, I dare not venture onto it until things dry up a bit

Re: started cleaning up

My soil is still a bit too wet to work on but yesterday I did my most hated job and spring cleaned the greenhouse with Jeyes Fluid. I hate it when I have to do the roof and upper glass and all the stinky water runs back down my arms! I don't like cleaning the pots either but at least it's only once a year and a small price to pay for nice vigorous little seedlings that haven't been chomped by insects!

Re: started cleaning up

Greenhouse space is going to be a challenge. I downsized to a medium size glass/aluminium one. I left behind a larger wooden one,a huge custom built wooden one and a polytunnel.

Re: started cleaning up

Now already here when we moved in but not cleaned so didn't show up

Just used a pressure washer on them and even a neighbour didn't know they were like that

Top photo I got rid of all the moss etc in the joints and then re sanded them with kiln dried sand for brickwork. Bottom brick path now has joints filled in

Same with the front drive it was disgusting

They were the same colour as those in the bottom extreme right of the picture whiich are a different colour. The red ones denote the end of mine
