yet another "toy" for the garden

Found this little gadget on the internet for spiking the lawn.
Pictures show protective caps over the spikes

That looks a very useful gadget. Our grass is too far gone for it to be of any use here.

I reckon that's more likely to roll over the grass than spike it. You cant beat a garden fork pushed in to its full depth and then rocked back and forth. Very time consuming but effective.

Not with a lawn 90ft x60 ft maybe ok with a a smaller patch of grass

Tried out that spike thing and it works. Bit hard to cover a lot of ground so done the worst 3/4 of the lawn. Now have to wait and see.

RS you'd have to use a machine like that for a garden your size! Glad it works
