I have a friend who just cannot help complaining. I went shopping this morning and dropped in for a coffee on my way home.


She asks what did I buy??-oh a bit of salmon,smoked haddock,cod cheek and a few prawns for a fish pie.

I got a right ear ache about how fish pie was for scraps and I clearly have no respect for fish.

Not everyone has scraps I always buy fish specifically for any fish dish I am making including fish pie, just tell her she is barking

There was once a chap who was in love with two Sisters, Edith and Kate, and he wanted to marry both of them , but the girls father said no “You can’t have your Kate and Edith”

We get our fish straight from the boats, our fish fella is up at the crack of dawn waiting for the trawlers to come in, fish is very dodgy if your not sure whether it’s fresh or not, you have to be very careful. I never eat meat except a bit of chicken or turkey so I love me fish.

I like nice fish in my fish pie. I wouldn't use scraps for it.
