Ok all you clever clogses who can speak Spanish...If I seriously wanted to learn Spanish and be able to communicate in a basic way, is there an app? Is it an easy language to learn?And don't tell me to go to evening classes can't stand them.

It's actually quite fun sitting at a school desk again and you get to meet a bunch of people. It's the best way to learn. Trying it from books is useless. You need the constant feedback of a teacher to correct your pronunciation and written mistakes. I did classes for about 4 years. Loved it.
I can get by pretty well in Spain when I visit and am not seen as a typical bloody tourist.
