Re: Wise words and Inspiring quotations...

Very good Wrinkley -
Here is a little question for folks and I know what I would say, but which quality would others say comes first.
Strength first, courage next - or courage first, then strength?

Good question Rena!
Very difficult to answer, they are both important, but I think courage first, because a weak person can have courage.

Re: Wise words and Inspiring quotations...

I think I might have messed this topic up - so back on track, here is another quote:_

In the hopes of reaching the moon men fail to see the flowers that blossom at their feet.

Think twice. Words said in anger, can never be unsaid.

Re: Wise words and Inspiring quotations...

Thought you might like to see these words I just found from a Cherokee -

An old grandfather speaking to his grandson about what causes violence and cruelty in the world.
"In each human heart there are two wolves battling one another - one is fearful and angry, and the other is understanding and kind".
The young boy looks intently into his grandfather's eyes and asks,
"Which one will win?"
His grandfather smiles and quietly says, "Whichever one you choose to feed".

So much truth, so simply put. . .

What a simple beautiful expression.

Off to bed will think of that as I doze.
