help me to choose !

moving soon - so iam looking for fast growing climbers' pink
or white 'with a good head rose 'if i put the two colors side by side - and train them to intermingle on the new house wall'
any names would help me very much ..

Only white rose I know is my own which is a Yorkshire Rose.
Its not a climber though
A growing climber I have a Clematis but cannot remember
what it was called. Hope you find what you are looking for.

First of all find out what kind of soil is at the new home. It could be anything from clay to chalk and anything in between.

Once you know that it should help with choosing the right plants that suit that soil.
Then find a good garden centre locally and ask them, they usually have experts on hand to help you

My favourite rose is the rambler called Albertine. Fast growing and the pinky peach flowers are very abundant and very heavily scented. It is not repeat flowering but is very happy to have one of the summer clematis winding through it.

Other end of the village a couple have a red rose growing through a white climbing hydrangea looks lovely and a lot more green leafy coverage too. Don't know if that would suit ?

I have Iceberg at the front of my house. It's really huge now and has white flowers ... hence the name lol

Very vigorous climbers are Russian Vine and Clematis Montana

Montana, yes, but the dreaded Russian Vine.... eek took me many hours to get rid of one at our last house - never again. You are right, though, it is a vigorous climber...

I have a red climbing rose on the front of my house and a pale purply red rambler on the back wall, lovely both. Also have a passion flower and a potato vine on the side wall. All easy to grow and can stand a bit of neglect, just don't mention greenfly.
