I will admit I don't know many farmers but the couple I do know love their dogs and if they did retire them would I am sure still keep their dogs, Megan particularly would be keeping hers for trialling.

Bah. Think of it. No more dog food to buy - no more vet bills - no more annoying barking - no more fleas - no more grooming - blimey the list is endless. Ditch your doggies and get a robot. You know it makes sense.
There will always be border collies and well border collies without sheep to round up are extremely partial to joggers so I've been told - it's the ankles you see, so easy to nip.
I watched this on Tv too but not a hope of a robot ever appearing on One Man and his Dog!! Whatever next...............One Man and his Robot? Nothing can replace the bond between a dog and his master.
