I laughed, I know I shouldn't .
I am sure you have all seen at one time or another a clip of a kiddie and it's first taste of real lemon? Yeah? Well keep it in mind.
Earlier today I prepared an apple and blackberry pie for after dinner, which today was prepared and cooked by my son btw. Anyways the pie was popped into the oven when the sea bass came out and when it was done we each had a slice with some Elmlea. Now I will just mention here that on the grounds that it is easier to add sugar than it is to remove it, I always under sugar apple pies. Okay. So having finished, I placed empty pie plate on the little foot stool by the side of the Estée to take into the kitchen later. Well eldest moggie sniffed out the minuscule traces of cream and clambers up to lick dish. Unfortunately along with the residual cream, was some residual juice from the fruit.
OMG! Her lip curled back, her entire body shuddered, and I simply can not describe the facial expression and facial contortions. But, and here's the best bit, just like the kiddies in those film clips, she kept going until every trace of cream was gone. I tell you, I was crying, and laughing so loudly my son, who has been ensconced with his new X-box since Thursday night rushed out to see what was wrong.
