Took the dogs out this morning and somehow managed to step on a frog, it seemed fine and hopped off afterwards but blimey did it scream ! Who knew they could make such a racket certainly got the curtains twitching and made me feel very guilty

My Dad accidentally stepped on one of his chicks and killed it and he actually cried!

I know frogs scream really badly. I have cats and cats love teasing frogs.

When we moved here from Kenya I couldn't sleep at night, it was too quiet, I was used to hearing frogs trilling, croaking and singing all night, so many different sounds from so many different frogs, it really was like a frog orchestra. When we got our garden pond here we got some frogs from the canal and installed them in the pond. I loved to hear them but unfortunately we ended up with too many and our Norwegian neighbours asked if we had ducks in the garden, haha. Nobody ever complained about them but they were getting a bit too much so we caught all that we could and returned them to the canal, we think the few remaining ones were taken by Owls but we still hear the occasional croak so some must still be around. I like frogs.
