Oh my, I've only just started to watch this properly on Netflix. What a wonderful amazing series, just the best thing to make January feel like June. Yearning to go to Corfu now. It looks absolutely stunning and I know it's all touristy now but I'm sure it's still beautiful.

I admit I have been a little slow at catching on to the charms of this show, but I didn't want to start a new thread, poor forum etiquette and all that

I haven't seen the TV series but have read Gerald Durrell's books - they were excellent.

I agree. It is a real 'feel good' series and so well acted. It's good that you have started at the beginning. I didn't think it was the sort of programme that could be watched twice but I was wrong. I watched an episode a few days ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
