Impossible to say - my opinion would change as often as my mood. Simpler to say that there are some bands I never tire of listening to no matter what mood I'm in - Stones, Who, Procul Harum, The Band, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, Eagles and several hundred more!

Beatles,The Fall,Beach Boys,Kinks,Roxy Music ,Steely Dan for their variation.
Stones for sticking to their R&B roots and doing it well.
America,CCR,Eagles for nice tunes.

Abba for me every time,their stuff has been made into theatre productions and films.
Always played at Weddings, a true test.
They are just the best IMO
