Shocked to hear this Jazzi, first band i ever saw was the Nice back in 1969, he was a talented musician and a Master showmen. Fond memories.

They had a fondness for Newcastle recording their minor hit America on the organ at the city hall and also the album the Five Bridges Suite about the bridges across the river Tyne

I had heard that he had health problems, and also that he had shot himself. So sad, Keith, RIP, you brought an awful lot of pleasure to so many people. You will be remembered with great respect.

Saw Emerson Lake and Palmer at the Festival Hall many years ago, I still have Pictures at an Exhibition and the Five Bridges Suite LPs.

I didn't mind them (let's face it I paid to see them) but for pretentious tosh I preferred the old Pink Floyd music - though for sheer showmanship jamming a knife between the keys and manoeuvring the comparatively massive organ in front of the speakers for feedback took a lot of beating.
